Specialty Retro Products has developed a line a custom made Titanium products for the vintage Mountain bike market. These brake studs/bosses are made from Titanium 6-4, same a material that is widely in the aerospace industry because it has a higher tensile and yield strength than Ti 3-2.5. The threads are cold rolled into the bolt for superior strength.
