Specialty Retro Products has developed a line a custom made Titanium bolts to replace your old heavy steel bolts for Manitou 2, 3 and EFC forks. These bolts are made from Titanium 6-4, same a material that is widely in the aerospace industry because it has a higher tensile and yield strength than Ti 3-2.5. The threads are cold rolled into the bolt for superior strength.
The crowns for these forks came in 3 different configurations with 3 different bolt type. Please check your current corn bolts before ordering.
Manitou 2, 3 and EFC bolt kits:
Kits include 2 x Brake bosses, 4 arch bolts, 2 or 4 crown bolts and 2 lower leg bolts.
The kit is the same for each of the 3 different forks listed. The EFC fork will have 1 extra lower leg bolt that is not used. You will need to re-used your existing phillips screw for the EFC only.
These fork crowns came in 3 different styles. 4 X 4mm allen head, 4 X 5mm allen head and 2 X long 5mm allen head sizes. Please check your crown bolts before ordering.
